While Grimes is small, it still has options for business, and it is very close to Des Moines as well. They have several locally owned restaurants, stores, and even recreational businesses. Again, being only 20 minutes away from Des Moines means you can also go for bigger shopping if the local business isn’t enough.

THINGS TO DO

Grimes has a deceiving size as it still allows for many things to be done. With great trails and old parks you can see Iowa’s history in one walk. They also have incredible go karting and raceways for more exhilarating activity. Finally, they also enjoy some outdoor recreation like swimming or golfing.
